Baked Sea Bass Steaks and Bell Peppers Recipe.

Hi all, I am here right now because I've just made like literally the best Baked Sea Bass dish ever for dinner. So I can't wait to share this recipe with you guys. As I am not or ever said that I'm an expert culinary chef in any ways, I do try to explore my options often when it comes to food because food is... yes, the second thing I love besides fashion. So here it is:

BAKED TAIWAN SEA-BASS STEAKS WITH BELL PEPPERS

Prep time: 15 minutes                                  Cook time: 30 minutes
Oven-heating time: Doesn't count

Ingredients:

2 pieces of Taiwan sea-bass steaks - 12/14 oz
2 tsp. of extra virgin olive oil. I used Bertolli extra light olive oil
2 tsp. of salt and pepper, just enough where it covers your sea bass steaks
1 tsp. of crushed red peppers
2 tsp. of diluted white vinegar
2 bell peppers, colors don't really matter, but pink would be so cute wouldn't it? ^_*

I also coated my sea bass steaks with fried garlic. There wasn't a definite amount of how much I put on my steaks, but just enough to cover both sides nicely. You will be able to find this at any local Asian markets. Fried garlic really gives your fish-steaks a nice oomph and that perfect crunch after. (I can't even pronounce the name of this brand so therefore this picture is here for a purpose.)

Pour 2 tsp. of the extra olive oil on the steaks evenly. Distribute salt, pepper and everything else altogether on both sides.

Plastic wrap your fish-steaks and leave them out at room temperature for about 1 hour. I pretty much ran to the gym and back so this is a perfect recipe to make on a busy night when you just seem to never have enough time on hands. I like to squeeze everything in my daily schedule, so I know I'll be using this recipe more often.

Cut your bell peppers in halves, here I got one red and one green.

Use your coolest knife and cut/empty out the white inside areas and seeds of the peppers, because they just don't simply taste good and don't do you any good in this recipe.

Chop them up in smaller pieces so that they'll cook evenly in the oven. And while you're cutting up your veggies to perfectly messy pieces, feel free to heat up your conventional oven to 400 degrees for about 15 minutes.

(This is how they look like, halves of stripes)

Spread them out all over your baking pan, they'll cook so don't worry. And this is when the 2tsp. of diluted white vinegar come in handy. Pour the vinegar over your steaks and peppers. The best way to cook bell peppers are to bake them with vinegar, no jokes... they will seriously come out tasting like heaven. It's my favorite way to cook bell peppers, courtesy to me, of course... so you guys should try it out.

The last step, sprinkle a little bit more of black peppers if you wanna, no pressure. And voila, you are done. Wasn't too bad, was it?

(In the nice and warm oven they go!)

Note: Depends on how thick they are, you should check on your steaks every 15 minutes. Since it was my first time making these babies, I originally was gonna bake them for 20 minutes long. But they were a tad bit too thick so I had to prolong the baking time to 30 minutes total for 2 pieces of sea bass steaks. I was worried that the peppers were going to burn black in the oven but guess what?!? They survived and came out tasting better than ever.

Mouth-watering-ly golden.

There you have it, my Baked Sea Bass Steaks with Bell Peppers. They were literally gone after 10 minutes by Mr. Lee. As I was trying to take notes and pictures for my recipe book/blog, he was already hollering at my ears telling me to hurry up. LOL. So trust me, they came out tender and yummy and just moist and my kitchen smells delicious and now happily ever after in my tummy. So that is why you don't have to be the best chef to make the best food. The most delish food come from happy people. Like me...

HAVE A GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE. LOVE ALL.
